Dr. Baniriah (pronounced as Banee-Ree-Yah) is board certified in Family Medicine.  She graduated from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995.  After completing her medical internship in Chicago in 1996, she moved to Arizona to complete her Family Practice residency at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale.  She received her board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine in 1998.
 

Dr. Baniriah has been practicing medicine in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area namely in Glendale, Phoenix, and Scottsdale, Arizona, for over 15 years before joining Care MD in 2012.  She has also been involved in supervising and mentoring medical students from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.  Dr. Baniriah enjoys providing preventative medical care and guidance promoting a healthy life style for her patients and providing Medical Care for All Ages.


 
Dr. Baniriah is married with three children.  She enjoys reading, music and volunteering at her kids' school and in various philanthropies as well as in the community.  Her Farsi (Persian) speaking patients are thrilled that she can speak with them in their native language.  Dr. Baniriah enjoys reading, traveling, and doing sports in general.
